About me
I have been in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years. My family immigrated to Canada after the 2nd world war. Both my parents served in the British Army. My father was stationed in Mesa Arizona training for his pilots license. Once the war was over my parents decided to immigrate to the United States. They arrived in Canada and travelled across the country. Once they arrived in British Columbia my parents fell in love with the beautiful coastline and mountains; needless to say we never made it to Arizona.
I was born at Vancouver General Hospital, and grew up in Vancouver. My husband and I moved to Langley over 20 years ago where we raised our daughter. We made the move in 2023 to Nanaimo Vancouver Island to be closer to our grandchildren and our daughter and son-in-law. Our favorite family activity is hiking the many local beautiful mountains that my parents fell in love with many years ago with our 2 lovely grandchildren. Rachel and I helped restart the Nanaimo Women's Business Network in Nanaimo, I am currently the President of that Society, and we both volunteer for the committee of Women of Influence in Nanaimo WIN.
After a long career in the Financial Services Industry I decided that in order to better serve my clients with more options for their needs that I would become an Independent Mortgage Broker. My daughter and I decided to work together and happily help people purchase the homes they want. We are part of Mortgage Architects, a subsidiary of Dominion lending.
